Eva Haug

Eva develops internationalisation policy and strategies. She works as International Relations Coordinator at the Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) and Coordinator Internationalisation in the AMSIB School of Economics Department of Marketing, Sales and Trade. The focus of the business school is internationalisation at home, which includes virtual exchange as a tool to facilitate cross-cultural learning. Eva is also Lecturer Intercultural Skills for the Faculty of Business and Economics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. In this role, she trains students to work in multicultural and virtual teams. She has been teaching university students for over 20 years and has six years of virtual exchange experience, including helping universities to prepare staff for virtual exchange on campus. In that capacity she has worked with partners in many countries, such as Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, the USA and Europe. Eva earned her Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands before completing a post-graduate degree in education. She has since specialised in higher education.
