Alexander Heinz

Alexander leads the Summer Education Programmes at King’s College in London, England. Alexander has been building King’s large portfolio of cutting-edge, diverse academic summer education opportunities from their early beginnings in London and overseas. He believes in realising the creative potential of short-course programming, and has forged key national and international collaborations with higher education instutions and high-profile cultural and political organisations to enrich the student experience. At conferences and international delegation visits, he regularly discusses ideas with colleagues working in the field. He is particularly familiar with higher education collaborations with the public sector in the United Kingdom and India. A trained historian and a former scholar of the German National Merit Foundation and the DAAD, Alexander has lived and studied in France, Germany and the UK. He is Vice-Chair of the EAIE Expert Community Summer Schools.
