Stanislav Avdeev is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Amsterdam. His research examines discrimination and diversity in higher education and healthcare using large-scale administrative and survey data from the Netherlands and Norway, combined with quasi-experimental methods. In addition to academic work, he leads policy evaluation research at the Amsterdam Health and Technology Institute, an independent research institute focused on healthcare policy and evidence-based decision-making. He also serves as an expert reviewer for UNESCO’s Global Education Monitoring Report.
