Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) Universities Alliance - Secretary General
Maria-Valerie Schegk works as Secretary General for the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) Universities Alliance. In this role, she leads the Alliance's work with partners to strengthen collaboration and deepen its impact on communities and the wider higher education sector. She is also passionate about developing strategies that benefit YUFE’s various learner groups and their skills, as well as supporting academics with EU funding proposals. Previously, she worked for the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the EuroTech Universities Alliance, and served as an accredited parliamentary assistant in various local and federal parliaments in Germany. Valerie is a convinced European, motivated to serve the knowledge square.
