Located on the ground floor of the SEC Centre near the Registration area, participants can use the complimentary Cloakroom to store coats, jackets, bags and luggage.

Please note: We recommend participants to not bring their suitcases and luggage to the conference centre to avoid long queues at the security checks at the venue.

This is where EAIE members can focus, refuel and relax. Take advantage of extra seating for a quiet place to work, as well as snacks and refreshments.

Members can book a free one-on-one career coaching session onsite daily. Bookings will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A very limited number of sessions are available.

The coach on site on Friday will be Sarae Pratt. She will be available to discuss a wide range of topics, including:

• Creating and maintaining boundaries

The political and social environment for welcoming international students is challenging today. While on the one hand governments aim to attract qualified international students for the domestic labour market, on the other hand there is discrimination against international students and we need to address it. This session will examine the situation in Germany and the Netherlands based on recent research, sharing real-life case studies.

This interactive session will explore how to engage students more effectively and break the 'registration to no-show' cycle. Through discussion and case studies, we will examine why students register but withdraw at the last minute, and we will discover strategies to enhance engagement, improve communication and refine marketing approaches. Real examples and practical takeaways will support you in strengthening your practice.

Given the heightened scrutiny worldwide around the use and conduct of recruitment agents, the issue of agent quality management is becoming increasingly vital. This session will build on previous discussions, giving you the opportunity to learn from experts about the different considerations and stages in agent management and compliance. You will also be encouraged to share your own experiences and tips on the subject in a fishbowl format.

Discover how short-term study abroad programmes can deliver lasting impact. This session will explore what drives institutions, educators and students to invest in these high-intensity experiences. With real-world examples and participant feedback, we will uncover how structured design, immersive learning and focused engagement foster language learning, intercultural skills and personal growth.

Seven years in, European Universities Initiative alliances are struggling with funding models, governance, project logic and balancing education with research. They also face growing challenges related to their structural and legal setup, including the creation of joint legal entities. This panel session will explore challenges, hidden tensions and the path forward to turning the original vision into a sustainable future.

Every successful revolution needs a rhythm – a coordinated beat that moves diverse voices forward together. This session will explore how to orchestrate strategic planning across partnerships, consortia and complex institutions by mastering three essential movements: engaging stakeholders in harmony, negotiating goals across different tempos, and measuring the rhythm of change. Join us to tune into strategies that turn discord into transformative collaboration!

Facing rapid changes and major societal challenges, it is easy to freeze and retreat into our own bubbles. How can we challenge and empower ourselves and each other? This session will use storytelling to explore individual assumptions and the contextual influences that shape them. The focus will be on how we can share research grounded in change and impact methodologies, as well as our experiences, to develop new dialogues and approaches and increase our institutional and societal impact worldwide.
