Entry visa for the UK

The UK introduced an ETA for travellers from, amongst others, Europe, the USA, Australia and Canada. An ETA costs £16 and is valid for two years. Please check ahead of time and purchase your ETA. If you require a visa to travel to the UK, we strongly recommend checking the official visa guidelines provided by GOV.UK and applying well in advance. Obtaining a visa and all the associated costs is the sole responsibility of the participant.

Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement

Unfortunately, this year’s conference is not eligible for Erasmus+ mobility funding, since the United Kingdom is currently not participating in the Erasmus+ programme (it will officially rejoin in 2027). There are limited exceptions for short activities of at least five days, but as this conference lasts four days, it does not meet the eligibility criteria for those exemptions.

Exclusive member offers

As an EAIE member, you’ll enjoy exclusive perks throughout the conference week designed to elevate your experience and personal growth, including:

  • Access to the exclusive Member Lounge, with extra seating, meeting areas, refreshments and even massages. Book a 20-minute personal coaching session with a professional coach, right in the lounge — sessions are limited.
  • Join member-only professional development sessions on Tuesday to gain practical tips on expanding your network, boosting your LinkedIn visibility and strengthening your leadership skills. Pre-registration is required when registering for the conference, and spaces are limited.
  • Connect with fellow members at the member-only Afternoon Tea for a relaxed, informal way to kick off the week. No registration is required; just bring your conference badge.
  • Plus, pick up your exclusive member pin and a themed desk calendar to keep you inspired all year long.

The following information outlines the cancellation policy for conference participants as stated in the official EAIE Terms and Conditions.

If you require a visa to travel to the UK, we strongly recommend checking the official visa guidelines provided by GOV.UK and applying well in advance. Obtaining a visa and all the associated costs is the sole responsibility of the participant. The EAIE cannot assist with the visa application process other than by issuing a letter of ‘invitation to attend’. This letter is issued only after full payment has been received and serves as a supporting document, but it does not guarantee visa approval. No exceptions will be made to the cancellation and refund policy in the event of a declined visa application.
