How to reach the conference venue
Free travel card for all participants
The EAIE provides all participants with a free travel card, kindly sponsored by edX for Campus.
The card can be activated starting Tuesday and is valid for 7 consecutive days from the first day it is used.
The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) Glasgow is located on the west side of the city centre, making it easily accessible by public transport or on foot. From Glasgow Central, you can enjoy a short journey by train, subway or a scenic walk along the River Clyde. By car
The SEC is located 2-3km west of Glasgow city centre, and driving takes 5-10 minutes.
Route: from the city centre, follow signs for the M8 motorway, then take Junction 19 and join the Clydeside Expressway(A814) westbound. For parking, turn left at the traffic lights and take the right lane to access the Hydro multi-storey parking. The SEC parking is open 24/7 with disabled bays and direct access to the venue. The SEC is within Glasgow’s Low Emission Zone (LEZ). All vehicles entering the zone area must meet the emissions standard to avoid a penalty. Please check if your vehicle is allowed in the area.
By bus
Glasgow offers diverse and well-connected public transport options to reach the SEC. By bus, several buses stop near the SEC.
- X19 Stagecoach: stop at Finnieston Street, from there a 7-minute walk to the SEC
- Several buses from the Glasgow city centre stop near the SEC.
By train
Glasgow offers diverse and well-connected public transport options to reach the SEC. By train, Exhibition Centre Station is the SEC’s dedicated rail stop

By bike
By Bike, the SEC is accessible via cycle lanes and has bike parking facilities. Voi e-bikes are available throughout Glasgow for flexible travel.

The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) offers a range of services to help you make the most of your conference experience.
Free WiFi
Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the conference venue. Network details will be available onsite and in the conference app.
⚠️ As thousands of participants may be using the network at the same time, connection speeds may vary throughout the day.
Cloakroom and luggage storage
A complimentary cloakroom is available in the SEC Centre during conference opening hours. You can leave coats, bags and luggage while attending conference activities.
⚠️ The SEC Centre cloakroom is the only location where suitcases can be stored.
Charging your devices
A limited number of charging points are available throughout the venue, including in the EAIE Member Lounge for EAIE members.
⚠️ There are not many charging points and demand can be high throughout the week. We strongly recommend bringing a portable battery pack (power bank) and arriving with your devices fully charged.
Accessibility and wellbeing spaces
The SEC is wheelchair accessible and includes lifts and accessible toilets throughout the venue. You'll also find dedicated wellbeing spaces onsite:

- 🙏 Prayer Room: A quiet space for prayer and reflection.
- 🌿 Sensory Room: A calm environment for participants who need a break from busy conference spaces.
