CUKUROVA UNIVERSITY
Cukurova University is a state university founded in 1973 in the Adana province of Cukurova region, a riverside city located at the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The University has one of the most beautiful campuses of Turkey, which is located on the east coast of the Seyhan Dam Reservoir Lake and is a natural park area. The campus complex includes the medico-social unit, housing units, social facilities, guesthouses, halls and fields for all sports branches, cafeterias, a printing house and a central library, in addition to modern and well-equipped classrooms and lecture halls. Cukurova University has more than 45000 students, 2183 academic personnel and 2603 supporting staff. The University is renown for its deep-rooted faculties of agriculture and medicine. Starting with only these two faculties, the University currently has 19 Faculties, 4 Institutes, 1 School, 11 Vocational Schools and 1 State Conservatory. Cukurova University has been the leading university of the Cukurova region and has pioneered the establishment of four new regional universities by offering its material and human resources.
