Frank works as Psychological Counsellor and Intercultural Education Officer at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. He is a past Chair of the EAIE Expert Community Guidance and Counselling and is a trainer with the EAIE Academy. Frank writes blog posts and is regularly involved as a speaker/chair at the EAIE Annual Conference. After graduating from the University of Bremen with an MSc in Psychology, Frank received postgraduate training in cognitive-behavioural and schema therapy and is a certified cross-cultural coach and stress management trainer. At Jacobs University Bremen, Frank is responsible for providing culture-sensitive counselling and psychotherapy, psychological crisis response, skill-building workshops, intercultural trainings and need assessments as well as staff and faculty consultancy. Prior to assuming his current position in 2002, Frank worked as a therapist and trainer in community psychiatry, vocational rehabilitation and family counselling. Frank is the author or co-author of various conference papers and publications on intercultural competence and mental health in higher education. In 2015 Frank received the EAIE Rising Star Award.
