Session 02.07

The employability gap: What’s the value of study abroad?

Global employability skills are key to students’ careers after graduation. Although there is a lot of research to back this statement up, there is still a lot of work to be done with students before they study abroad to prepare them to properly understand and articulate these skills. This session will provide insight and strategies from two very distinct institutions – a Canadian community college and an Italian research university – on how to set students up for success.
