Introducing MILES: Measuring International Learning Environment Status

To give institutions a comprehensive understanding of international students’ needs so that they can provide responsive, interactive and effective support, we have developed an instrument that covers all the fundamental elements of quality assessment of the international learning environment. This poster presents our survey instrument, which uses Moos’ theoretical framework and covers three broad domains: goal direction, relationships, and system change and maintenance.
