Do I need to be an EAIE member to apply?

You do not have to be an EAIE member to apply for a role on one of the nine Thematic Committees. If appointed, you’ll need to become a member by September 2026 when your term begins.

To apply for the role on the Board or Conference Programme Committee, you must be a current member.  Please ensure you are logged into your EAIE account so you can access the forms to apply. 

Can I apply for more than one role?

No. You may only apply for one role. Please choose the role that best aligns with your goals and experience.

Can I apply if I hold another EAIE role?

To be eligible, you cannot hold another EAIE position as of September 2026 when the new term begins.

Can volunteers apply for EAIE research grants during their term?

No. To avoid conflicts of interest, volunteers are not eligible for EAIE grants and funding outside their volunteer mandate during their service term.

I am an EAIE member but cannot find the forms online?

To access the application forms, please ensure you are logged in to your EAIE account. If you are visiting our website for the first time, you will need to first create an account to apply.

How many positions are available in a Thematic Committee?

There are seven (7) positions available within each Thematic Committee. With nine (9) Thematic Committees in total, this adds up to 63 positions overall.
