Pouneh Eftekhari (Lund University, Sweden) is an internationalisation scholar-practitioner with a career spanning over 15 years in strategic planning and implementation. As a global project manager and certified expert in assessing internationalisation quality, she leads a bilateral network and develops methodologies to evaluate the longitudinal effects of network engagement on individuals and organisations. Parallel to her operational leadership, her research addresses the specific challenges of stakeholder engagement, examining how disciplinary cultures shape faculty participation in curriculum internationalisation and how educational developers exercise agency in supporting these processes. Pouneh frequently lends her expertise to international projects and organisations through strategic training, public speaking and service on external quality assurance boards. Since 2024, she has also been an elected member of the EAIE Expert Community for Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum.
