University of Padua, Italy
Alessandra Gallerano brings over 15 years of experience in international higher education, with deep expertise in JP development, EU-funded projects and international mobility. As Head of the Projects & Mobility Office at the University of Padua, Italy, and a member of the Education Board in the Arqus European University Alliance, she leads strategic initiatives in joint teaching and has significantly contributed to Padua’s growth in JP offerings, including Erasmus Mundus Masters (12 active programmes). Alessandra has been involved in the EAIE for over 10 years. She co-founded the EAIE Joint Programme Network and served as Chair (2017–2018). She has delivered workshops and sessions at multiple EAIE conferences and contributed to the EAIE Academy Online training on Joint Programmes in 2017.

TO Tecnologico De Monterrey - ITESM, Mexico
Mirko Varano serves as Vice Rector for International Affairs at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico (ITESM). Mirko has been active in the field of internationalisation of higher education for the past 25 years. He covered different positions of responsibility at the Turin Technical University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He has coordinated a number of EU projects on JPs and has been involved in the management of the Erasmus Mundus Project since 2003. He is the current Chair of the Partnerships Thematic Committee for the EAIE. Mirko has been co-chairing the ForEU sub-group on the Joint European Degree in 20222-24 and has previously delivered online training courses on behalf of ACA.
