2026 EAIE Mentorship application
Thank you for your interest in the EAIE Mentorship Programme. This is your opportunity to grow your skills, expand your perspective and build a meaningful, supportive partnership with a fellow international education professional.
The programme is open to current EAIE members.
- If you are already a member, log in to sign up!
- If you would like to take part, become a member! Participating in the Mentorship programme is one of the best steps you can take for your professional growth and connections.
Before applying, take a moment to explore what the mentorship experience involves so you know what to expect as a mentor or mentee. The deadline to apply is Monday, 16 March.
What to expect as a mentor
- If you’re a suitable match, you’ll be invited to attend a virtual introductory meeting in April. You don’t need to be an expert in any specific area—just willing to check in monthly, or as agreed with your mentee, to provide support, guidance and advice.
- Mentoring is a two-way experience. You’ll gain as much as you give, with opportunities for self-reflection and learning how others tackle challenges.
- There is an opportunity to meet in person at the EAIE Conference, if both you and your mentee attend. The programme wraps up with an end-of-year virtual meeting to reflect on the progress you’ve made together.
What to expect as a mentee
- If we can find you a suitable mentor, you’ll be invited to attend a virtual introductory meeting in April. As the mentee, you should be proactive in scheduling meetings and sharing talking points to help your mentor prepare for your conversations every 1–2 months.
- Mentees who get the most out of the programme are open to learning and set clear goals with their mentor using an action plan and meeting tracking documents that we will provide you.
- There is an opportunity to meet in person at the EAIE Conference, if both you and your mentee attend. The programme wraps up with an end-of-year virtual meeting to reflect on the progress you’ve made together.
