Conflict, war and increasing authoritarianism are depriving students worldwide of their right to education. Universities are in a unique position to stand up to these developments and ensure students at risk get a level of protection that allows them to finish their education. European initiatives exist, but they are relatively small and uncoordinated. This session will present new initiatives and will highlight the role universities can play.
