The Draghi report shows a lack of innovation force in Europe. Combined with the need for up/reskilling of the labour force this decreases Europe’s competitiveness, which is being addressed in the Competitiveness Compass and Union of Skills. How can the University Alliances be part of the solution? Based on the experiences of two EUI alliances, both aiming to be a driver for regional development, the session discusess how the alliances can be a catalyst for cooperation with regional ecosystems.
