Cynthia Lewis

Cindi Lewis is an experienced leader in international education with over two decades of progressively responsible roles in global engagement. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Global Education at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, USA. Cindi oversees study abroad programming, risk management, strategic partnerships, and faculty-led travel initiatives. Known for designing innovative and student-centered global experiences, Cindi has expanded access to international learning while aligning programs with institutional goals. Moreover, Cindi’s global education work has taken her across five continents for program development, site visits, and student facilitation. She holds certifications in Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias and has presented at leading conferences including NAFSA, EAIE, and the Forum on Education Abroad. In addition, she serves on the Advisory Board for the study abroad program provider API (Academic Programs International). Lewis is a passionate advocate for inclusive and immersive global education, having been recognized with several awards for leadership and collaboration. She continues to champion cross-cultural learning as a cornerstone of higher education.
