In a rapidly evolving global workforce, higher education must prepare students to apply international perspectives to real-world contexts. This poster session highlights how Montclair State University in the US has established innovative partnerships with global industries to promote internationalisation and experiential learning.
Please note, posters are divided between the SEC Centre and the Crown Plaza Hotel this year. The approximate walking time between the two locations is 4 minutes. Posters ending between 01 and 16 will be found in the SEC Centre Concourse, posters ending between 17 and 30 will be found in the Crown Plaza Hotel, Argyll Foyer.
Mariella Hernandez is the Director of Global Programs and Partnerships at the Feliciano School of Business, Montclair State University (New Jersey, United States).
She brings a wealth of international experience spanning both higher education and corporate settings, with particular expertise in building global partnerships, developing international programs, and advancing cross-cultural exchange in business education.
Mariella leads the School's global engagement strategy, representing it abroad to forge new partnerships and alliances while expanding international study and travel opportunities for students and faculty. Her own international journey includes a semester abroad as an MBA student at the Rotterdam School of Management and graduate study at the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
She currently serves as a Board Member of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) and as a Mentor in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Mentorship Programme.
Dr. Cristiana Kunyczka serves as the Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement at Montclair State University. With nearly two decades of experience in international enrollment management, Dr. Kunyczka has specialized in international student recruitment, admissions, international student and scholar services, ESL programs, study abroad, and partnership development across four institutions. As a strategic leader and advocate for international students, she has successfully developed and implemented initiatives to enhance global engagement, foster cross-border partnerships, and support the academic success of international students. She holds a master’s degree in Global and International Education from Drexel University and a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
