In 2023, the British Council in the Netherlands co-created, with Nuffic and ECHO, a new mentoring programme to improve the diversity among students considering studying abroad. The programme aims to provide students from non-traditional backgrounds with a supportive environment, engaging UK alumni as mentors to assist them in taking up a study abroad experience. As this poster shows, UK alumni are provided with training so they can become the mentors.
