Mark Majewsky Anderson

Mark co-founded in 2023 to address the inequities in international higher education. Previously, as Director of Research and Innovation at Glasgow Caledonian University, Mark oversaw the University’s portfolio of approximately 175 projects and supports the delivery of the University’s policies and overarching 2030 Strategy centring around Social Innovation. Part of his remit was to reflect the University’s core mission ‘For the Common Good’ through a growing portfolio of research and innovation activities, reflecting the University’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In another role, as Director of the Europe Office, he exponentially increased the University’s engagement in EU funded projects, in particular through Erasmus+ Cooperation Projects for which GCU became the UK’s top beneficiary. The 20+ Capacity Building projects managed by the University focus on transforming research and innovation strategies in institutions across LMIC countries particularly in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He speaks fluent Spanish having spent 17 years living in Spain, working at the University of Salamanca. In his spare time he is an avid writer of novels and plays, receiving a Master’s degree with distinction in TV Fiction Writing.

Guido De Wilde

University of Amsterdam, Netherlands

Guido is a renowned expert in developing vibrant student communities and designing student mobility programs that emphasize 21st-century skills, including intercultural competence, student leadership, peer-to-peer mentoring, and experiential learning. He currently leads global student experience and engagement initiatives at the University of Amsterdam and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board of ESN Amsterdam.
In his role at the University of Amsterdam, Guido was the visionary behind the UvA Cultural Exchange Ambassador Programme, a student leadership initiative that champions equity, diversity, and inclusion. This programme has received the prestigious Orange Carpet Award from EP Nuffic and was nominated for the Championing Diversity PIEoneer Award. Additionally, Guido oversees the university's participation in three Erasmus projects: NICE (Network for Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship), Digipass (a digital platform supporting students and staff throughout the mobility lifecycle), and TICKET (Transnational Intercultural Competences through Knowledge Exchange and Training).
Guido's significant contributions to the University of Amsterdam and the broader academic community were recognized with the University of Amsterdam Honorary Medallion in June 2022. Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Guido is also an artisan goldsmith, creating his own jewelry.
