Jelizaveta Getta studied intercultural communication at the Institute of Translation Studies Charles University and now she is working in the Erasmus+ office of the same university. She is in charge of bilateral agreements, the administration of Erasmus+ incoming students and also engages actively in the inclusion topics, mainly focussing on inclusive mobility. Since inclusion became one of the highest priorities of the Erasmus+ programme, she has been taking steps to make the Erasmus+ at Charles University more inclusive and gathering experience about the topic by active participation in a range of international conferences organized by the EUA, ESN, and EU4All. As a Ph.D. candidate, she is also teaching both onsite and online courses for Czech as well as international students at the Charles University Faculty of Arts. In her research, she focuses on intercultural communication in African countries, the history of interpreting as well as the theory of translation.
