Panel session
This session will present CAPES-Global.edu, a key initiative of the Brazilian Federal Government that aims to develop strategic academic networks between Brazilian higher education and research institutions involving international partners. From a Brazilian perspective, speakers will explore how this programme, underpinned by public investment and long-term collaboration mechanisms, aims to support equitable, sustainable and innovation-driven internationalisation. They will also present the comprehensive framework for funding and collaboration that CAPES-Global.edu will offer to develop cooperation focused on reciprocity, inclusion and regional equity for shared academic development. The session will also highlight how these principles can generate transformative impacts on postgraduate education, international collaboration and knowledge production.
