Poster session
Even though ‘international’ skills are essential for employability, first-generation students are underrepresented in international mobility. Non-academic parents often show less support, and the schools these students attend offer fewer opportunities for early stays abroad. This lack of early experiences can hinder later study abroad participation. Our poster shows how higher education institutions can link and assess institutional research to enable evidence-based enhancement and avoid inequalities.
