This session invites you to become a 'heart holder' and explore internationalisation initiatives rooted in local contexts that contribute to systemic societal transformation. You will imagine your own international seed projects, designed to grow grassroots change within your institution.

At IB, where I am dedicated to advancing educational excellence, I have taken a leading role in developing innovative, student-centred learning frameworks that redefine interactive and immersive education. I have pioneered together with a couple of colleagues the piloting of the SITL approach—a didactic model that prioritizes active student engagement and practical application of knowledge—while also refining its implementation in my role with ESAC.
Additionally, my contributions to the IBE REGLOMI project, a key European research initiative in which EFMD is a full partner, underscore my commitment to integrating best practices in business education and accreditation.
But first and foremost, I am Moniek, and I am passionate about empowering young people to become the best versions of themselves—guiding them with care while also encouraging them to embrace their own mistakes as stepping stones to success, igniting their ambitions and inspiring them to believe in themselves and the capabilities they have.
