Campfire session
AI is transforming education, but teachers face growing concerns: How can AI support rather than undermine academic integrity? How do we address bias in AI-driven tools and systems in education? Should institutions regulate or embrace AI tools already used by students, and if so, how? What would a responsible AI framework look like? To kick off the discussion, we’ll begin with real-world cases highlighting AI challenges in education, such as AI-generated plagiarism, biased grading algorithms and privacy risks. This discussion-driven session invites participants to share experiences and co-develop strategies for ethical AI integration to establish responsible approaches that uphold academic integrity while embracing innovation.
