Monique Swennenhuis

Monique Swennenhuis works as a strategic advisor international marketing and international affairs at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. She is a member of the Marketing and Recruitment steering group and has a keen interest in subjects like data driven marketing, CRM, optimization of the student journey, innovative marketing solutions and AI. 
She has delivered sessions and workshops, both in person and virtually, at a number of conferences, and is also an EAIE and NAFSA trainer. She gives trainings in international marketing subjects in various countries and contexts, loves sharing her expertise and inspiring people. In May she was elected for the new Thematic Committee on Marketing and Admissions.

Bregje Wijsenbeek

Nuffic, Netherlands

Bregje Wijsenbeek works as a senior policy officer in the strategy, knowledge and innovation team at Nuffic, the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education. Her works falls under a statutory task that governs Nuffic’s activities, and with which the organisation is closely tied to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in the Netherlands. 

She coordinates a research programme around the nexus: international- education- labour market.  The Stay rates and labour market position of international graduates, or in other words, the share of international students that stay in the Netherlands after graduation, where they work, and how much they earn, is one of her focus areas. 

Recently she also started a new series of research projects around the data of foreign diploma evaluations in the Netherlands and their impact on their labour market position of diploma holders. 

Bregje is an economist by training and worked in the private, public and NGO-sector in South Africa, Germany and The Netherlands.
