Institutions of higher education have long been at the forefront of global integration. They heavily invest in international student recruitment and collaboration. Yet universities increasingly find themselves challenged at the very core of their mission by populist movements with anti-immigrant, nationalist and anti-science sentiments. This session will consider how universities can navigate this altered political environment and provide practical support to international students and staff.
