Dr Nidhi Piplani Kapur is the Head - International Initiatives and Head - Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES), Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE), Symbiosis International (Deemed University), India. A recipient of the prestigious Government of Ireland Scholarship award, her doctoral research at the South East Technological University focused on Internationalisation at Home (IaH) within the Irish higher education context. She is the youngest and only Indian elected to the General Council of the European Association for International Education (EAIE). With over 15 years of experience in the higher education sector, she actively advances internationalisation through strategy, policy, and partnerships, strengthening EU–India collaboration in higher education internationalisation, research, and innovation.

Franka van den Hende

University of Groningen, Netherlands

Dr. Franka van den Hende is a senior policy & grants advisor and researcher on impact and change. After concluding her PhD on Curriculum Internationalisation as a Dynamic Change Process (June 2024), she currently works on diversity, change, and impact matters within the European University Alliance ENLIGHT.  At the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, she works on grants advising & support and impactful, practice-related research in the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Franka has 34 years of work experience in internationalization in higher education, in academic and non-academic roles in various contexts. She has frequently presented, delivered workshops, facilitated, and participated in panels and other networking events worldwide. She has published four research articles open-access and practice-and-policy-oriented blogs with the EAIE.
