The Enhance the Role of Language (ENROL) programme is one of the cornerstones of the Language Policy Plan of the University of Alcalá in Spain. By providing training to teaching staff, its aim is to increase the number of subjects taught in English and to ensure the methodology used in the teaching of English is adapted to the needs of students. This poster will present the two pillars of the ENROL programme, namely language and methodology training, and will discuss ways of engaging staff.
