Recent research shows increased confusion in the arena of English proficiency, as well as wide gaps in the understanding of language assessment literacy, across and between higher education institutions. This collaborative, audience-led session will explore differences between the UK and the cross-European perspective, focusing on new approaches to the issue. Participants will co-create a basic language assessment literacy toolkit for universities to integrate into professional development.
