This workshop addresses the process of developing global competence for all students. It draws on the pedagogical approach and practical experiences from a blended international exchange between Université Côte d’Azur in France and North Carolina State University in the United States. Participants will learn from and engage in creative and inclusive activities that promote multi-stakeholder interactions with ‘glocal’ issues and the Sustainable Development Goals. Using challenge-based learning, we will provide a hands-on intercultural learning experience for the development of global and sustainability competences. We will also address the potential of education for sustainable development in strengthening inter-university cooperation.
