With more than ten years of working experience in the student mobility sector he gained valuable experience in various fields of this sector. He was deeply involved in the implementation of internationalization measures within the Engineering & Life Science study programs at the MCI, such as the creation of Double Degrees, implementation of mobility windows, building up an attractive partner network etc. Today he is responsible for outgoings students in the field of Life Science & Engineering as well for the Erasmus+ incomings.

Klára Frausová

Klára Frausová is an Erasmus+ Coordinator – International Credit Mobility at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic, and Leader of Facilitating Mobility within WP4 of the EUPeace European University Alliance. Her expertise focuses on Erasmus+, international mobility, and higher education internationalisation. She has worked at the University’s International Office for more than three years and previously completed a one-year internship in Austria. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, specialising in English and German language teaching.

Dana DAngelo

With over thirty years in higher education and organizational consulting experience, Dana D’Angelo is a Drexel University LeBow College of Business Clinical Professor committed to continued personal and professional development in teaching, research, and service. Using an open-minded teaching and learning approach, Dana stresses the importance of global awareness and international experience; personal, team and leadership development; creative thinking, and experiential education, in all her classes and programs. She teaches all levels of students both face-to-face and online, with a particular focus on first year student success. She has expertise in international virtual exchange classrooms (nearly 100 collaborative projects) and faculty-led intensive courses abroad (over 35 programs) with partners and locations around the world. Dana’s work with education abroad and global engagement faculty development has had international exposure. Her research is focused on the scholarship of teaching and learning and supports both her own and others’ drives for excellence in the field. She has numerous publications and annually presents her work at professional conferences. Her university service is on student-centered committees and initiatives. Dana is a licensed CPA and CMA, as well as a certified trainer in Ennea International Five Lens Development Tool. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award, the Hornum Award for Teaching Excellence, and the Provost’s Award for Innovation, and she was a Visiting Lecturer at University of Leeds (UK). Her prior roles have included Director (Department Head) of General Business Studies, Associate Director of the Center for Academic Excellence, and Fellow in the Center for Teaching and Learning. Dana additionally has sat on the advisory boards of several professional and community organizations, as well as review committees for professional journals and conferences.

Maaike van Gerven

Maaike van Gerven is the International Partnerships Officer at the International Office of Erasmus University Rotterdam. With over 15 years of experience in the internationalisation of higher education, her career is dedicated to promoting international collaboration and supporting students and staff during their international experience. In her current role as international partnerships officer at EUR, she works closely with international partners to develop sustainable and fruitful collaborations. She is experienced in evaluating partnerships, to assess collaboration effectiveness and to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, she works on conducting comprehensive risk assessments for all new and existing international partnerships, identifying potential legal, financial, and operational risks. She is part of the EUR international crisis team and is currently working on a crisis communication protocol, ensuring clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders during emergencies.
