With the artificial intelligence revolution well underway, we must adapt or risk losing momentum in our internationalisation efforts. Written personal statements have long provided insight into applicants and their motivations for going abroad, but generative AI can promote conformity and discourage diverse thinking. How can we change the tempo and spark creativity, encouraging applicants to find their own rhythm? Where do diversity, equity and inclusion come in?
