This is a hands-on workshop for those who would like to use a community-based approach to Internationalisation of the Curriculum. During the workshop, you will build competences and confidence to set up and run your own professional learning community. The speakers will share their experiences with academic communities at institutions across Europe and the United States. We will explore the essential characteristics of professional learning communities and of good facilitation, and we will start the design process for building a community in your own context.

 

This workshop will help you: 

• Understand the purpose and features of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). 
• Learn five essential elements for inclusive and impactful PLCs. 
• Experience and evaluate PLC design tools in practice. 
• Draft a PLC plan tailored to your university’s stakeholder landscape.
