How can higher education institutions translate inclusion and social responsibility policies into concrete practice? This session will explore how Erasmus+ national agencies in Finland, Germany and Austria support institutions in developing inclusive internationalisation through networks, training and peer learning, inspired by and building on the joint Inclusion ACAdemy.
Karina Theiss holds the position of Internationalisation and Mobility Coordinator at FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences.
Her educational background includes a Master's degree in International Management at FH JOANNEUM. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Universidad Andrés Bello in Viña del Mar, Chile. In 2015, she transitioned to the field of internationalisation in higher education, joining the Medical University of Graz, where she was responsible for Erasmus+ incoming mobility programmes. Since September 2017, Karina Theiss has been a member of the International Relations Office at FH JOANNEUM, where she currently focuses on outgoing student mobility and the digitalisation of mobility processes.
Karina Theiss represents FH JOANNEUM in the "Erasmus Without Papers Champions" initiative, a programme run by the European Commission with the goal of promoting and accelerating the implementation and use of the EWP infrastructure at European universities.
