Based in Barcelona, Spain for over 15 years, she has extensive experience with international mobility agreements and initiatives, program development, and career readiness initiatives. She has served as a volunteer for the Forum on Education Abroad, CEIA and the Fund for Education Abroad. Kate Moore is an international educator energized by our changing world of work and how we connect campuses, communities, and companies. Dr. Moore built Global Career Center to partner with universities throughout the world, employers from a wide range of industries, and learners of all ages to connect employability and education through collaborative program development, comprehensive services delivery, and curated experiential education. Aubrey Bierwirth is the Internationalisation Coordinator at the University of Glasgow's Adam Smith Business School. In her role, she acts as the professional services lead for internationalisation, providing essential support for a broad range of activities. Her responsibilities include organising short-term mobilities for students, which enhance their global learning experiences, as well as facilitating formal partnership agreements with universities and institutions around the world.
Aubrey's background is in student mobility, international student support, and partnership development, with eight years of professional experience in the field of international higher education spanning roles in the United States, England, and finally Scotland.
In addition to her involvement with the European Association for International Education, she is a member of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP) and a part of the Systemic University Change Towards Internationalisation (SUCTI) Trainers network.
This year marks Aubrey's third attendance at the EAIE Annual Conference, and is her first time presenting. She looks forward to the lively discussion and inspiration that the conference never fails to provide.

Malak El Boury holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Organizational Development with a focus on Education to Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Malak previously worked at an E-commerce Start-up (EXCOM), at L’Oréal Paris, at the African Development Bank, at Havas Group and at Fondation Orient Occident before she joined the Faculty of Governance, Economic and Social Sciences (Mohamed VI Polytechnic University) as a professor in charge of the International Mobility Office.
Malak has taught various modules in different higher education institutions such as Fundamentals of Marketing at FGSES-UM6P, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Africa at ESSEC Business School, Project Management track at Junia Engineering School and she has led workshops for diverse audiences on topics such as Ikigai, UX design, Design Thinking, Agile Project Management, Emotional and Collective Intelligence and Business Model Canvas.
Malak was also a part of Global Shapers Rabat (which is an initiative from the World Economic Forum) as a curator (2021-2022) and was nominated to join the Global Shapers Community's Advisory Council for a 2 years mandate (2023-2025).
Malak firmly believes that empowering youths through education, entrepreneurship, civic involvement, international mobility and vocational learning is the cornerstone of economic growth, well-being, and social stability. Hence, along with her professional duties, Malak is passionate about mentoring aspiring young leaders and women entrepreneurs in programs such as the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative - We-fi (powered by World Bank), Purpose in Motion - PIM (powered by Huawei) and Open Start Up (powered by Columbia Business and Engineering Schools).

Riikka Rissanen (chair) is a project manager in Finnish National Agency for Education, Finland. She currently runs a project Improved cross-border digital services for studying abroad in the Nordic and Baltic Countries, funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Luca Alexa Erdei, PhD is an assistant professor at the Institute of Research on Adult Education and Knowledge Management, Faculty of Education and Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary. She also serves as a mobility expert and work package co-lead within the CHARM European University Alliance. Her primary research area focuses on internationalization in higher education, including topics such as internationalization at home and organizational learning through joint degree programs. Taking on both professional and academic roles, Luca is actively engaged in connecting theory and practice by applying the latest research findings in her development work at CHARM-EU or in other R&D projects.
