Marija Mitic

Marija Mitic is a Policy Analyst at the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) unit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture. She coordinates feedback to policy activities in the unit, such as data monitoring, strengthening science-policy links in MSCA and structured uptake of project results in policymaking. She is also responsible for several MSCA initiatives supporting researchers at risk, academic freedom and fundamental values (Inspireurope+, SAFE projects). Marija has over 15 years of experience in international education policy and practice as a trainer, project manager, policy and advocacy officer in international organisations and stakeholder associations (Pestalozzi Children's Foundation, UNESCO, EC, Lifelong Learning Platform, ACA). She is a former member and chair of the EAIE Inclusion and Diversity expert community. Marija’s academic background is in English studies and Communication, Inclusive education and Lifelong Learning, acquired in Serbia, Switzerland, Denmark and Spain.
