Microaggressions, prejudices and biases plague failed intercultural conversations and create misunderstanding. It’s critical that skilled intercultural communicators engage in topics that Gen Z students care about: race, sexual orientation, global politics. In this session, participants will learn how to improve intercultural competences while gaining awareness of the damaging effects of biases on health, performance, intercultural learning and involvement in university activities.
