Edda Cecilia Orlandi

Edda Cecilia Orlandi is a Liaison officer in the 4EU+ Alliance’s Team at the University of Milan (Italy). Her tasks focus on international communication, student and community engagement, and supporting the development of the 4EU+ Alliance’s educational offer. As part of her tasks, she worked on setting and developing the student ambassadors’ initiative together with her colleagues in the 4EU+ member Universities. She also participates in the FOREU4ALL Community Engagement topical group. 
Before her current position, she worked as a communication and research consultant in the public and private sectors. She developed an expertise on youth, focusing on young people’s values, lifestyles, and aspirations, both from a market and social research perspective. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Milan (2010) and has 10 years of experience as a contract lecturer in General Sociology and Sociology of Communication. She has also tutored international students, accompanying them in the different steps of their student careers.
