From the outset, European Universities Initiative alliances have been a seedbed for educational innovation, aiming for broad partnership at a previously unseen level and deep embedding of internationalisation. More than four years in, we are taking a moment to explore some of our memorable failures. More specifically, we will home in on actions to engage academics. How have these failures helped us to develop new practices? Can our reflection on lessons learned energise us as we move forward?
