UNESCO's Global Recognition Convention is the only global treaty in the UN system covering higher education. In 2025, the operational guidelines to the convention were negotiated and adopted. In this session, you will get concrete insight from three experienced professionals on how the globally agreed guidelines can assist higher education institutions and other actors in implementing the principles to benefit admissions, recognition and institutional cooperation.
