Katarina Bilonic

Katarina Bilonić is the Head of the Higher Education Department at the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes in Croatia. She has around ten years of professional experience in the field of higher education, with a strong focus on international mobility and academic cooperation.
At the national agency responsible for the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme in Croatia, Katarina oversees activities related to the higher education sector. Her work includes providing support for the implementation of mobility projects under Erasmus+, as well as offering guidance and assistance in promotion of centralised Erasmus+ projects.
She is also actively involved in the Study in Croatia initiative, which aims to strengthen the global visibility of Croatian higher education institutions. In addition, she coordinates bilateral academic cooperation programmes, such as Fulbright, supporting academic exchange and collaboration with countries worldwide.
Katarina holds a graduate degree in the humanities and a postgraduate degree in economics, with a focus on the legal and economic framework of business in the European Union.
She is dedicated to advancing the internationalisation of higher education and fostering strong, sustainable frameworks for international academic cooperation.
