In 2025, the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the EAIE launched the International Partnership Landscape Survey, a multi-year study of how higher education institutions (HEIs) around the world are building and sustaining international partnerships. This session will present early findings from the US, Canada and the four EAIE-defined regions of Europe, showing how these partnerships have expanded over the past decade in scope, purpose, geography and institutional influence. As higher education becomes more interconnected and collaborative, participants will be invited to reflect on what these findings mean for the future of international education and how they can apply them in their own work.
