Gabrielle Rheault is the Outgoing Mobility Advisor at the International Relations Department of the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), a position she has held for the past two years. She works closely with UQAM students to help them plan and prepare for their international study periods, offering personalized guidance at every stage of the process. Gabrielle also supports faculty members in designing and organizing short-term study abroad programs embedded in their courses, ensuring both academic value and smooth logistical coordination.
In addition to her advising role, Gabrielle actively promotes international mobility across the university. Always seeking to broaden access, she develops new funding opportunities and explores innovative ways to increase the number of UQAM students who study abroad. These efforts led to the creation of UQAM’s Locomotion Grant, a dedicated funding program for short-term group mobilities organized as part of UQAM courses.
Gabrielle is committed to helping students and faculty transform their international ambitions into reality—opening doors to new perspectives, experiences, and global connections.
