Traditionally, when higher education institutions have taken keys steps to internationalise themselves, they have focussed on students and academic staff. Administrative staff have often been left out of the equation despite being the backbone of many universities. The Systemic University Change Towards Internationalisation (SUCTI) project has been working to change this by raising awareness of internationalisation among the administrative staff of European universities. 

This one-hour webinar will look at the benefits and options for uniting all staff in the goal of internationalisation. If non-academic staff can be engaged in the importance and processes around internationalisation, they hold the potential to become key agents for change.

We will explore:

  • Ways of implementing comprehensive internationalisation at home
  • The benefits of in-house training for staff versus exchange programmes
  • How to deliver an in-house training course at your institution (case study from SUCTI project)
