Registration & fees

Registration for the EAIE Academy 2023 course on 'Creating a positive international student experience' is now open. Fees, key dates and what is typically included in your registration fee can be found below.

Registration dates

Early-bird registration: 19 July to 20 October 2023 (17:00 CEST)
Regular registration: 21 October to 13 November 2023 (17:00 CET)

Registration fees

Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express and some Maestro cards. All payments made to the EAIE must be in Euros (€). Payment by bank transfer is not possible for EAIE events.

*Lower-income country: If you are working in a country classified as a ‘low-income economy’ or ‘lower-middle-income economy’ by the World Bank, you qualify for a reduced conference rate. This rate is applied automatically upon registration.

Become a member and save

If you sign up for EAIE membership before registering for the Online Academy, you can immediately benefit from the fee discount. The difference in the registration fee cannot be refunded if you sign up for membership after registering for the event.

Visas

EU citizens do not need a visa to enter the Netherlands. Visitors from non-EU countries may require a visa and must possess a passport valid for at least three months. Please check the official IND website for more information. The EAIE will issue visa invitation letters to participants from countries requiring a visa to enter the Netherlands, but only upon receipt of full payment of the registration fee. Please note that we do not give any further support to the visa application process. Obtaining a visa remains the sole responsibility of the participant. Regular cancellation deadlines apply, regardless of whether your visa was granted.

Cancellation

The following information outlines the cancellation policy for the EAIE Academy as stated in the official EAIE Terms and Conditions.

Refunds due to participant cancellation will be processed after the event. Please refer to the general EAIE Terms and Conditions for more information. 

Please note that no exception will be made in the event that your visa application is declined. Obtaining a visa and all the associated costs is the sole responsibility of the participant. The EAIE cannot assist in the visa application process other than in the issue of a letter of ‘invitation to attend’. The letter of invitation is only issued once full payment has been received.

Cancellation by the EAIE

If a course does not receive a sufficient number of participants, we may be forced to cancel the course. We will do this no later than 20 October. All registered participants will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid. We cannot be held liable for any costs you might have incurred in the interim (eg flight tickets).
