World class universities in the Siberia region

Siberia's three federal regions extend from the Urals to the Pacific and include 36 million inhabitants. In 1878 the first Siberian university was created in Tomsk. In 1959 a new type of university opened in Novosibirsk, combining 30 research institutions. Today there 160 HEIs hosting 950,000 students. This poster will explore the Siberian section of the Russian HE excellence programme, looking at the high-level curricula in Russian and English, and its innovative research programmes.
