The role of universities in helping students with special needs to go abroad is crucial for the success of the student’s experience. Many factors must be taken into account in order to find the right host university and the appropriate funding. In this session we will describe three real-life experiences our university has had with students with special needs (both incoming and outgoing), and share how the outcomes of these experiences have helped us design a protocol for these situations.
