Session 03.07

Quality issues in summer schools: meeting the demand

A wide variety of summer schools fulfil a growing demand for short-term programmes. It might be a ‘golden age’ for us, but we also have to meet a corresponding demand for the highest quality. How do we define, measure and ensure ‘quality’? Are we doing enough? How do we tackle quality assurance ‘failure’? The session invites you to share quality concerns and offers input from seasoned summer school providers. Together, we discuss best practice mechanisms and good ideas for quality assurance.
